		<description>These comments are well-put.  Short-term fluctuations in a stock price are often the result of market forces, but sustained growth is the result of (as you describe) finding solid companies that are under-valued, buying and holding.  It takes patience and persistence and makes for much less interesting cocktail party conversations than our technical counterparts.</description>
